As the date-mark shows, this was done in the dim and distant past. Last May, to be precise, for Lesliweird's 'Historic Evo' fanart contest, where XME characters had to be featured in the garb of a bygone era. Kiki (known here on DevArt as Karabazoo, and whose art you should go ogle immediatly) does this kind of thing much better, but this was the pic I was least upset with for an 'opening act' in my brand spiggin' new DevArt account. Even though I patently have a problem with backgrounds. And shading. And colour. And proportions. And ... well, you get the idea.

As I hope is clear, I chose ancient (stereotypical) Arabia as my bit of history. And it strikes me as funny that, not only is Rogue in a harem, but someone also saw fit to give her a knife to defend herself with.
